Virus, bacteria and fungus
In Te Maunga we have been learning about viruses, bacteria and fungi. I learnt about the differences in viruses, bacteria and fungi. I learnt that bacteria can be put in food and can give you terrible sickness. I also learnt that fungi can be some sort of mushroom and a virus is the weirdest thing out of all of them. Scientists even think that a virus isn’t actually a living thing!

Water Cycle
Last week in Te Maunga I learnt about the water cycle. I learnt to use my pencil lightly, fill in the white space and use our colouring pencils in different ways. The water cycle is when the sun evaporates water. Next the water vapor condenses and turns into condensation. The condensation forms clouds. Then the clouds fill up with water droplets and then the water droplets merge and then fall because of gravity. Then the droplets fall into a lake, puddle, river or the ocean and the whole process happens again.
